DESCRIPTION Monosov Swirnoff / Habitat Sound System – “Volume 4 / Split L.P.” Eclipse Records ECL-053 (Stereo) from 2006. Super Hard To Find Sealed copy of this Limited Edition of 500 LP from Monosov Swirnoff on Side-1 and Habitat Sound System on Side-2. In point of fact Monosov Swirnoff is the duo of Ilya Monosov and Preston Swirnoff with help from Jason Piper, Siavash Ghamaty and Nathan Hubbard while Habitat Sound System is the same duo in a Band setting with Brandon Relf, David Hurley and Zuri Waters. The two sides are similar in sound but different with Side-1 being more Avant / Experimental / Free / Folk / Rock while Side-2, as the song titles suggest, leans to Dub Reggae. Sealed in the Original Shrink Wrap with NO Cutouts, Promo markings or Barcode! CONDITION In NEW, SEALED condition in its Original loose Shrink Wrap / Sleeve. There is a bit of corner softening and the perforations in the shrink wrap / sleeve are part way opened though clearly not actually opened. Still in great shape and easily Near Mint. Please note – Sealed Records are assumed to have Mint Vinyl by definition. Because there is no way to check the condition of the Vinyl without opening they are not returnable! Sealed records are assumed to have Mint Vinyl by definition unless there is some indication that damage may have occurred. Covers are usually Mint or Near Mint, again by definition, but any flaws will be listed and the covers graded accordingly by Goldmine standards. I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I’ve had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But…. it also means that I don’t issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. “That’s not MY idea of a VG record!” – I don’t know what your standards are and, as such, can’t grade to them.
