Henderson Drill Castrator Bulls Cattle Bloodless Castration Home About Us Policies FAQ Contact Us Henderson Drill Castrator Bulls Cattle Bloodless Castration Product Description Henderson Cattle Castrating Tool Safe, Easy, Fast, Cost Effective Bovine Model Kit includes, Castrator and DVD with instructions (does NOT include Drill) The Henderson Tool has been uséd by veterinarians and livestock producers on thousands of bulls in the last 8 years and has proven to be a safe, easy, fast, and cost effective method of castration. Castration with the Henderson method results in little or no blood loss, less stress, swelling, infection and trauma. Uséd with a standard 14.4 volt variable speed hand drill with a neutral switch, preferably a cordless unit for convenience and safety. Utilizes twisting action which effectively closes the severed cord. Minimizes blood loss and risk of hemorrhage through the severed cord Reduces risk of post-castration swelling, infection and trauma , animals don’t go off feed and sacrifice valuable weight gain. Less chance for infection to enter the abdominal cavity. Appears to be less pain post surgery Easy to use and faster than many other forms of castration Especially effective for us on hevier bulls (500-900#) Heavy duty stainless steel, rust resistant, easy to sanitize, will last for years. The Henderson Equine Castration Instrument may be uséd on stallions one week of age or older. Castration is usually completed at one or two years of age. We also sell the Equine Version (works well on larger bulls, as the nose is a little longer and wider, Field tested by veterinarians, but uséd by cattlemen alike.
