eBay For Sale is a Restored Transistorized Ignition Distributor, correct for Corvettes/Camaro (and possibly other GM models), equipped with the Big Block L-88 430HP Corvette, or 69 ZL-1 (only) Camaro models, which both required co-option of K66 Transistorized Ignition, 1967 #1111240, 1968 #1111295 & 1969 #1111927, or 1970 LS-7 #1111465/475 (depends on trans)-These P/N’s are very similar distributors. How hard and expensive is it to find an original Big Block TI distributor?, but an original L-88/ZL-1 unit-impossible!, especially restored to the highest quality; And, never before with a ONE YEAR WARRANTY! This Sale is for ONE original: #295 dated 7 H 7 (August 7, 1967), or 7 H 14 (August 14, 1967), OR #927 (9 F 17), OR #465 Dtd 9 L 3 (November 3, 1969-this one is NOS); YOUR CHOICE. Beware others that claim to have an original ID Tag–the current reproductions are not exactly correct–we can explain the difference–these are “real deal” originals. These units have the original coil pick-up (with correct lead wire “stripe”) and original #373 vacuum canister (current vac reproductions are not exact-OEM have a hole in the center of a nub (impossible to duplicate with a drill-it is stamped out) vs. a small nub, but no hole on the repop where the vac hose normally would fit). The units showed very minimal use, so very few parts needed replacing; only small parts as necessary, i.e., seal & felt. The results are units that has been meticulously restored cosmetically & mechanically to “original”, and are virtually new units that will work as GM intended-guaranteed! Please Note: pictures may or may not be of current inventory, but are of the same P/N unit. NOTE: unit does not come with a cap or rotor; however, we have Delco reproductions (see our other listing) or a few NOS “Brown” cap, which is what L-88/ZL-1 had originally. We have been rebuilding/restoring Distributors and Amps for several years and have a very good selection of finished units and parts to restore future ones. Ignition systems (K-66 & point standard) have become one of the specialties of our Corvette Restoration business. I am a Member and Judge of Corvette Associations and have campaigned multi-cars at the National level, so I know what the judges are looking for. We incorporate more detail into the restoration of all of our parts, than anyone else we are aware of; which equals zero judging point losses. We are however, enthusiasts and enjoy driving the cars, so we also build them for performance and to last-all at a competitive price. Discounts on distributors available with multi-purchase of amp, coil, etc.-the more you buy, the more the discount. If you need a TI Amp, to complete your system; we have restored OEM and some NOS Amps, or can restore yours (see my other listing for restore service). We have available TI Coils (Delco licensed reproductions, with correctly embossed part numbers-excellent quality and they work great!)-see my other listing. We guarantee all of our restored Distributors and restored Amps for one year, no questions asked or mileage restrictions. All finished Distributors have been tested on one of our Sun Test Machines and all amps have also been tested on a running car (the only true test), so there should be no question knowing they work when you get them–if you have the wiring correct (we can provide detailed wiring diagrams)–they will work, guaranteed! We carry in stock every part you will need to complete the entire K-66 system: distributors, Amps, coils, harnesses, Caps & rotors, mounting bolts, screws, etc. When you buy the entire system, you also get free technical advise and assistance. ATTENTION CAMARO owners: check out my other listing for the Camaro TI kit (exactly as offered as a Dealer installed kit, back in the day-has everything, right down to the correct amp mounting bracket and harness clip) Also available for additional cost: a couple of NOS “Brown” Caps; some used, but very presentable caps-one barely used-almost new, the other would be best suited for Survivor judging-used much more & looks older.
